Robin Vanderberry Creech Air Force Base
Col Robin P. Vanderberry is assigned to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of Test and Evaluation as Director of the Joint Electronic Protection for Air Combat (JEPAC) joint test hosted by the USAF Warfare Center at Nellis AFB, NV. JEPAC was chartered to develop, test, and evaluate joint tactics, techniques, and procedures to enhance air combat capability in the presence of Advanced EA waveforms. As Director, he is responsible for coordinating Joint Test activities with the Services and supporting organizations; executing the Program Test Plan to provide findings, conclusions, recommendations, and other JT products to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Joint Staff, combatant commands (COCOMs), Services, and other appropriate agencies.
Col Vanderberry entered the Air Force through Basic Training at Lackland AFB in 1979 and was commissioned in 1985 after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy. Colonel Vanderberry has held a variety of flying, staff, and command assignments including linguist, electronic warfare officer, instructor, evaluator, weapons officer, USAF Weapons School instructor, operational tester, major command staff officer, Squadron Commander, Deputy Operations Group Commander, and Deputy Mission Support Group Commander. While serving in the Requirements Directorate at Air Combat Command he was assigned as operational representative to the source selection team for the Joint Strike Fighter.
Colonel Vanderberry is a Master Navigator with more than 2,500 hours in the B-52G/H and T-38 aircraft. He has supported operations in DESERT SHIELD, DESERT STORM, DENY FLIGHT, SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, and IRAQI FREEDOM as a combat aviator, operational planner and command and control subject matter expert.
