In addition, the audience will be introduced to “Green Chips”, a valley-wide effort to promote sustainability with emphasis on conservation and renewable energy.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Gary has worked in the energy industry for the past 31 years. His employment experience has included work in the oil industry in Saudi Arabia, the electric utility business and energy services sector, in Nevada and currently in Renewable Energy for the water utility. He is a licensed Mechanical Engineer in Nevada and California.
For the past seven years Gary has focused his efforts on Renewable Energy and conservation. Those efforts have included the design and installation of various solar facilities, the negotiation of long-term Power Purchase Agreements to support the local utilities’ Renewable Portfolio requirements and work with various Nevada political and regulatory entities to amend and implement initiatives to support Renewable Energy development.
