Published by dave_archer under Uncategorized

image Vegas PBS will soon occupy a new 112,000 square foot facility expected to achieve a LEED Gold ranking. The construction process, building materials, electronics, security systems, and use of solar/geothermal power will set a national television benchmark for energy conservation, digital integration, and public service.

The building will provide digital technology infrastructure to support digital media, homeland security/emergency response, online education, post-graduate certifications, and broadband imagedistribution of video.

The use of green systems is  expected to lower operating costs over 40%, greatly reduce future disposal fees during equipment replacements, and lower absenteeism and health costs by providing a clean indoor air environment.
